Bombo Project

Bombo Overview
The project in Bombo originated out of our initial work in Bajjo.

Bombo is the main town near the Bajjo village, and has several schools making it an ideal location to initiate our education programmes in partnership with the local schools.

The Bombo project is headed by Vinny, who now has over 6 years experience delivering both the Creative Studies and WhizzKids United programme. He is assisted by Milly who joined the team in 2013.

The team in Bombo are constantly looking at ways to improve the programme and help reinforce the important life skills taught – a recent initiative has seen the introduction of a school holiday ‘refresher’ course.

We have mixed teams of boys and girls to promote gender equality and award the participants their certificates for completing the programme. We identify local testing and counselling services and reinforce the key messages from the programme.
